Here are a few shots from a recent moonlight walk.
The big three ingredients (pork, peppers, and beans) were all from the Centennial State, so we decided to name the dish “Chile Verde de Colorado con Cerdo y Frijoles.”

There are several dirt road vehicles in the 3mph stable. The Jeep comes in second place for the most miles, at just slightly over 100,000. She’s a teenager this year; the same age as our granddaughter, 13. There are some hail divots and other assorted brokenness, but she runs nicely and still looks pretty good

The April moon is named “Pink Moon” after an early spring wildflower, the creeping phlox. The images were captured an hour after apogee, which happened on April 13, 2025, at 6:49 p.m. EDT. Apogee is the point where the Moon is farthest from Earth. When the full Moon is near apogee, it’s classified as a “micro-moon.”
