Back in my younger days, “Shoot The Moon” was a risky, bold move my partner and I would make to win the kitty in a spirited game of Pitch. The goal was to win all of the tricks in a single hand. It was a risky, ambitious strategy that could lead to a fantastic comeback or a devastating failure. It’s the high-risk, high-reward aspect that made it so exciting!
Sadly, I don’t play Pitch much anymore. However, I do attempt to “Shoot The Moon” as often as possible. I just do it with a camera now. Here are a few shots from a recent moonlight walk.
