I’m constantly on the lookout for interesting music and top notch live recorded shows to share here on 3mph.org. Life wouldn’t be the same without singing and dancing. Grass in all flavors is where my focus is most of the time and I stumbled onto another exceptional show from another Colorado Bluegrass Festival. The lead singer Mark Morris was a co-founder of the Rapidgrass Festival in Idaho Springs, which has been going on for 14 or 15 years.
The band has won numerous awards over the years and this soundboard recording from 2016 features a bunch of really cool guest musicians, like David “Dawg” Grisman. Jeff Austin, co-founder of Yonder Mountain was there too, along with slide virtuoso Billy Cardine. You will dig this show. Here’s the first half.
