A War Nobody Wanted

When I was a kid, somewhere around drinking and voting age, I identified as a Liberal. It might have been the music of the times – Dylan, Baez and Buffalo Springfield or it might have been the mythology the media created around Camelot and JFK that infatuated me. “Ask not what your country can do for you – ask what you can do for your country.” Kennedy intended to steer the country on a different path. Away from Imperialism and War, or so it seemed to a naive teenager.

It didn’t work out obviously. Like most of us, he didn’t recognize how deep and wide the rot and corruption had already become in our youthful, little republic. He found out the hard way, that when you challenge the deep state, bad things happen. The only other president to challenge them since was Nixon and the bureaucrats destroyed him too and inserted one of their own.

“I know you think you believe you understand what you thought I said, but I am not sure you realize that what you heard is exactly what I meant.” ~ Richard Nixon

The Bureaucrats Behind the Curtain

I believe every president after has been installed by them or at least certified, stamped and approved. The Trumpsters all thought “The Donald” was going to clean house and he did surprise the unelected bureaucrats in the beginning, I suppose. But he definitely sold out, which wasn’t really that surprising. He was pretty much owned by the swamp monsters by the time he hit the Oval Office. The rest was just diversionary tactics, designed to take your eye off the ball.

I don’t remember if anyone talked of a deep state back in the 60’s and 70’s. It may have gone by a different name back then but there is no doubt they were calling the shots then, just like they are now. You only have to look at the Vietnam conflict to recognize that it was being driven by a group of unelected government bureaucrats. All five presidents involved, desperately wanted out but were afraid to upset the bureaucracy or be seen as soft on communism.

“The war in Vietnam is but a symptom of a far deeper malady within the American Spirit.” ~ Martin Luther King, Jr.

The Will of The People

So even though the will of the people and the politicians they elected wanted out of Nam, we remained involved for decades. Over 58,000 young Americans lost their lives, along with 3 million Vietnamese. 120 billion dollars were spent in the last decade of the conflict, while Americans were suffering through an energy crisis and unheard of inflation. That was probably the straw that broke the swamp-dwelling, war-mongers backs and they allowed Nixon to pull the plug in 1973.

I was definitely against war then and not just because there was a draft lottery going on. It just seemed like a really bad idea to send young boys all over the world to kill other young boys for an idealistic belief. I understand now that it was more about Imperialism than Idealism. An even worse reason to send young boys all over the world to die. I understand the concept of defending freedom and I thought that’s what liberalism was all about. In fact, here’s a definition from the Oxford dictionary – a political and social philosophy that promotes individual rights, civil liberties, democracy, and free enterprise. What happened to that kind of liberalism?

“Every empire, however, tells itself and the world that it is unlike all other empires, that its mission is not to plunder and control but to educate and liberate.”~ Edward W. Said

Lies, Damn Lies and False Flags

But looking back from my present perspective, it was at the height of liberalism during Lyndon B. Johnson’s transformational Great Society program, that he committed to sending 1.5 million young boys into the meat grinder of Vietnam. LBJ got dumped into the presidency with the assasination of Kennedy and didn’t have any real foreign policy experience. So he was at the mercy of his advisors. They set him up with the Gulf of Tonkin incident and left him no choice but to escalate the situation into one of the worst tragedies of the century. Declassified documents prove Tonkin was just one of many false flags used to propagate perennial war.

I know some folks scoff at the idea of a Deep State hiding behind the curtain, like the Wizard of Oz, using false flags to inflame people’s emotions and steer the republic into never ending wars. But it’s real and they murdered JFK because he had the audacity to believe he could shift the paradigm. The deep state’s not left or right, liberal or conservative. It’s a uni-party of permanent bureaucrats that have been ruining the republic for a long time.

“False Flag operations by governments are the easiest and quickest way to persuade the population to sacrifice their own in order to achieve goals of the elite.” ~ James Thomas Kesterson, Jr.

The Corruption Runs Deep

Kennedy didn’t bite on the Northwoods proposal by the Joint Chiefs of Staff to create another imperialist war with Cuba, just before he was assasinated. A quick perusal of that memo which was made public in 1998 with very little fanfare, shows the depth of corruption that oozed out of the swamp and that was 60 years ago. Here’s a copy. You should have a look, especially if you have any doubts about the existence of a Deep State and what these swamp creatures are capable of – Northwoods. The false flag ideas start on page 10.

“ … and to the republic, for which it stands, one nation; under god, with liberty and justice for all.”

The impossible obstacle with being a republic instead of an actual democracy is that we entrust these politicians to make decisions for us. But when it takes three and a half decades for them to tell the truth about what they’re doing, it’s a little too late to do anything about it. We’re already a half dozen presidents down the line. Kinda tough to get all pissed off at them when they’re already dead. The only continuity in a republic is corruption.

“The surest way to corrupt a youth is to instruct him to hold in higher esteem those who think alike than those who think differently.” ~ Friedrich Nietzsche

Some Things Never Change

Things have gotten exponentially more corrupt and disgusting since then and they were pretty bad then. Which is why they won’t declassify the Kennedy documents. So here we are sixty years later, trapped in a similar situation. A war nobody wants except the swamp dwellers that hide behind the curtain. The country’s broke and infrastructure is in shambles. The southern border is over-run with barbarians deliving dangerous fentenyl to the legions of hopeless in our inner cities. Inflation is on par with the Carter years and the government has spent as much or more on the Ukraine conflict in one year than they spent on Vietnam in a decade.

So where are all the protesters now – watching Tik-Tok videos in their parents basement? WTF happened to this country? During the Vietnam debacle there were folks proclaiming themselves to be liberals, on the door step of the White House in Lafayette Square everyday protesting the war. Oddly we now have folks proclaiming themselves to be liberals cheering on a proxy war and possible nuclear holocaust.

“Never be afraid to raise your voice for honesty and truth and compassion against injustice and lying and greed. If people all over the world…would do this, it would change the earth.” ~ William Faulkner
