Johann Sebastian Bach

Johann Sebastian Bach’s Cello Suites were composed about 300 years ago, during the Baroque period. The six suites are some of the most frequently performed solo cello compositions. Yo Yo Ma won a Grammy for his renditions. Pablo Casals was one of the first Cellists to record them. Colin Carr is a gifted Cellist and musician who has been playing the Cello since he was 5 years old. He has won numerous awards and played all over the world. Here he plays Bach Suites 3, 5 and 6 at the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum in Boston, MA. Enjoy!
