The Infamous Stringdusters October 5th, 2007 The Station Inn Nashville, Tennesee
This is an awesome show!
The Stringdusters got together in 2005 and garnered some major attention in Bluegrass circles pretty quickly. The band formed in Nashville where this show was taped. The first song, “Fork in the Road” was the title track on their debut album, released earlier in 2007. They were named Emerging Artists of the Year, at that years’ IBMA awards, while the LP won Album of the Year and its title track took the honors for Song of the Year. There have been a few changes to the roster since then but these guys are still on top of their game with a new album coming out and have announced their fall tour. Check out their site for more info. The International Bluegrass Music Association has announced The Infamous Stringdusters as hosts for the 32nd annual Bluegrass Music Awards, to be held September 30 in Raleigh, NC.
