Canadian Texas is a little hamlet in the Panhandle of Texas. It’s on the High Plains, about five hours south of “The Cottage.” There’s a peaceful little park with a few RV hook-ups, and we usually anchor down for a night when we drive “The Bus” back and forth between Texas and Colorado. On the latest trip, we were dodging a gully washer in Central Texas with a forecast of several inches of rain and Snowmegedden in Colorado with a forecast for a couple of feet of snow.
We made it to Canadian without getting too wet and had an easy run-in ahead of the big snowstorm. So, we relaxed and captured a few images while we walked the dogs. The old cottonwoods were transforming to a beautiful golden hue.
