Johnny Cash is a legend and one of our musical heroes, so while we were hanging out in Austin recently we just had to mosey on down to the “Mean-Eyed Cat Bar” for a beer. We headed that way on one of our morning walks and found our way there just shy of noon. But it was five o’ clock somewhere so we ordered up a couple of beers and enjoyed the vibe.
While we were enjoying our late morning / early afternoon beers, a film crew came in with one of Austin’s “up-and-coming” Country Music stars. George Birge was showing CMT around his hometown of Austin, Texas. The places where he got his start. That’s him in the bonus shot. It worked out well for me, the film crew wanted a shot of a beer getting poured and since the barman didn’t want to waste it, I scored a free IPA.
