Grass Is Dead

The “Grass Is Dead” is an Acoustic String Band with a Grateful Dead Vibe. Obviously this is not a new concept, especially here on Monday Morning Music. This genre is the heart and soul of 1000’s of festivals throughout the U.S. from the East Coast, across the Mighty Rockies to the Left Coast and every place in between. Whether you call it Jamgrass, Newgrass or Deadgrass in the end it’s pure Americana.

This show is from a different era of “Grass Is Dead,” back in 2006 when all of the founding members were still around. It’s an excellent soundboard recording from a cool little venue down in West Palm Beach, Florida. How ’bout some Beachgrass. There are two exceptional sets here so we’ll feature one this week and the other next Monday. Enjoy the Show.
